At 58, I have enjoyed a lifetime of bushwalking and outdoors activities - not frequent, and mostly not all that challenging, but I just love the great outdoors. My highlight was trekking with my son Paul to Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Ri and Cho La in May 2004, and I have had a love of, and interest in the Everest region ever since
