It is finally here! I just heard from all the climbers. They are camped above 15,000 feet, having soup and getting ready for bed at 7 Pm. Everyone is doing well. They are moving slowly but well. I read them all your messages, lots of cheers in the background. Send positive energy in whatever way you believe.

A Question for David
johnguaspari — Mon, 02/18/2008 - 21:28I was just wondering...the next time I go on a golf vacation, if I post progress reports, will you read them faithfully? Seems like the fair thing to do. Sample:
"Standing on tee box on 7th hole...eleven feet above sea level...highest elevation on course...am a bit winded from the climb...may ask someone else in foursome to drive cart down fairway so I can catch my breath...snack shed just two holes away...God is merciful."

It must feel so wonderful to have reached your goal! And hey, if you don't see Julie Andrews you can always just sing yourselves! Or if you do see Julie you might want to start back down...

Don't ever tell me again I should not walk back to work with wet hair from HNH otherwise I will have to tell you how you should wear a hat at 15,000 feet

Your chair is slowly disappearing under the papers that I have been putting on it. Next time, to save the chair, your only choice will be to take me with you, tee hee hee. Just kidding.......
