EVENT: Packing for expedition

Visa, water filter, satellite phone...excitement, I am trying to get into Rick's bag. He left me this summer when he went snowboarding to South America. This trip I am going as his photographer China, then into Lhasa, Tibet. Arrival in Tibet, September 3rd. After a visit to the most holy and famous places in Lhasa, some sacred monasteries and some travel, we will begin our trek into Everest Base Camp. My yak friends will be helping me.

IN LHASA AT OVER 12,000 FEET ABOVE SEA LEVEL, I AM HOPING THAT RACCOONS ADAPT BETTER TO ELEVATION THEN HUMANS. IF RICK IS FEELING OKAY, I WILL SEND YOU A PICTURE OF ME WITH SOME OF MY TIBET AND PPS FRIENDS.

I hope Steve, you are finding your way easier than I just did with this first time attempt. In any case, we are all well. Extremely busy this week. This makes me happy....Days are passing very quickly. Before we know it you will be back.
