Got your message. We got here late last night. Long plane rides. Quite interesting views of the Alps and the Sahara. Slept well last night from being so exhausted. Saw the mountain this morning. It's absolutely breathtaking and looks doable. Got briefed on the climbs this morning. Our guide is an African named Tom. Going into town this afternoon. Picked up a couple of nice patches already. I've got to become one with this mountain to climb it. It has a feeling that I must mesh with. Love you always. Will communicate when I can.

Hi there family. It is Michelle & Kiernan N on Sunday AM... we just got back from church and Kiernan is down for a nap...(all by himself no less!) It is a beautiful Sunny day here in Rochester with the air nice a crisp (maybe a hit of spring soon to come) Yesterday we spent the day with Aubrey & Teagan... Aubrey plays great basketball! (Reminds me of when you played Charmagne!) I miss you all but know you are all enjoying every moment. To Patrick N: Kiernan is doing well... he has photos of you up on the kitchen wall & bedroom and gives you kisses or high five’s when he passes the photos - everytime... He sure knows his Dada! Mack & Kiernan both go into the bedroom looking for you at nighttime and first thing in the am... We love you very much and know you are having fun... take tons of photos! Hi there honey, well it is about 10 pm here on Sunday and you are or about to start the journey of a lifetime... the climb... I am very proud of you and all that you have accomplished. It is hard to believe that you talked about doing this over 10 yrs ago... and now that you are setting out to do this I want you to know that I am VERY proud of you and could not be more honored to be your wife. Though I am not with you on this journey I am there in your heart, supporting you in every step. Your mom would be very proud of you... she is looking down at you from heaven and we all are watching your back as you climb to the top! Keep warm and I see you on "on the beach" ;) ENJOY EVERY STEP...AND KEEP WARM!

Everyone has really been enjoying your emails on here. From this point forward until after we summit, we will recieve your emails via a little pda and satellite phone. They will be read to the climbers but the climbers can not individually reply.

Your support is amazing, these people are amazing. This one of the most wonderful and special experiences of my life.

It was great hearing from you. I thought you already left. I had lunch with Debbie on Sat. It was nice. Then I spent a few minutes with the kids, I finally got to hold Trevor. He is so big. Yesterday, it was beautiful here, sun!! I went shopping and then for a short walk. I had a lot of phone calls, which was nice.

Hey i hope that you had an AWESOME first day of climbing ! Not much has been happing in Livonia . I hope that if you are ever having a bad day that you will just look on the website and see how many people are lifting you up,praying for you and just thinking about you every single day !
