LOCATION: Floreana Island

After swimming with the sea turtles and one shark we headed in a truck with open seats into the highlands. We are on a remote island of 100 people. A two hour boat ride took us here. There is one hotel and we are the only guests. The highlands was a hide out of pirates who stopped here to wait and bury treasure. The colony ended with the disappearance of a baroness and her lover and a murder on the beach.
