Pictures of the Safari... 1

Acacia. That's the name of the tree. We've seen tons of them. C'est le nom de l'arbre. On en a vu des milliers comme ça. Watching! Here are the Land Cruisers we had for the Safari.

Ça commence à me manquer pas mal. Je vais m'y remettre sérieusement d'ici quelques jours car je compte bien retourner monter des montagnes d'ici peu...

Allez... Appréciez les photos!

Hi everyone,

Here I am with some pictures from the Safari I did after climbing Kilimanjaro.

Since I came back from the trip, I've been very busy working and reorganizing my life after the return. I didn't even really start working out again. But now I'm starting to miss it. I should be back to the training routine in a few days, because I sure want to go back climb some mountain soon...

Here... Enjoy the pictures!

Ciao, Aéronik

Mountain climbing is addictive

Nics pics, brings back good memories.

Yes mountain climbing is addictive, so get back into training as you never know when the next opportunity will arise to trek/climb again. Training will allow you to focus again and resume your fitness

Cheers
Roger

Great safari pix

Hi Aéronik

I'll be posting some of my safari pix soon. Wasn't the safari an amazing experience! But standing on the summit of Kili and viewing the glaciers was priceless!

I can completely relate to not getting back to the gym right away. I just got back from working out for the first time since I left for Kili and I have been home one week! It felt good to get that first workout behind me. I want to keep training because I want to keep climbing! I feel stronger now than I have in years!

Cheers,
MC

memories!!

nice pics. makes me more determined to return to africa again.where would you like to climb next ? regards[ken.nz]

Hi Roger, MC and Ken

I'm doing fine these days. I'm busy painting my new appartment, so that's why I don't have much time for updating the web site and replying asa I get the messages. Sorry for that!

I started to train a little bit, bicycling and walking. I don't feel like going to the gym right away. It's summer up here in Montreal, so I'd rather train outside.

About my next climb, I'm thinking about going out west in the USA, Wyoming, in october to climb Grand Teton. I would like to take a climbing course at the same time and then do the summit. I don't know if it's a good timing, I didn't even check yet, it's just an idea. Maybe if you know something about the weather down there at this period, you could help me with making an itinerary. I would be in the area for one month and I would like to climb other mountains as well...

I'll keep you posted with my upcoming projects.

Ciao for now

Aeronik :o)
