Great pictures, brings back memories when I was there. Kili is such a lovely place and to a degree it is a life changing experience to climb Kili. It is such a lovely and peaceful trek in and the scenery is outstanding.
I too recall how cold it was summit night at around -20 and I was rugged up, but on the way down the layers come of quickly and you soon require fluids to replenish your perspiration.
Where do you think you may go to next?
Personally I prefer quite remote places and I have a few ideas of other places I will go to. I went to remote north western China last year (Muztagata 7546M) and had a great journey by train accross China, Beijing to Urumqi (48 hrs) then Urumqi to Kashgar (24 hrs) then Kashgar to Lake Karikol by van for 8 hrs then onto Subashi to trek into base camp at 4600 metres and then the hard work began.
All in all I had a great journey and spent a considerable amount of time with local people in peace and solitude.
