Good Morning,

After an amazing morning in the Ngorogoro Crater watching lions hunt, feed, and mate, seeing the elusive black rhino, and sending more WOKie love to the wildebeests, we have returned to Arusha.  We were all bushed by the early morning and long drive.

Leslie, Abigail, and Marian are already in Dar es Saalam, and Karen and Nancy start flying towards home tonight.  Ann Marie heads for South Africa in the morning and the rest of us start flying tomorrow night.  Flora, Wanda, and Diane for home, me for Windsor for a conference and award ceremony.

Thanks to all who've entered the match contest-keep trying and don't forget to match our real names as well.

Big thanks to Earl Walker who transcribed all of the audio updates and posted them to my website.  Earl-you rock!

And again, big thanks to everyone who followed along-your support and kind words have meant so much to us all.  I hope to post a more detailed account of the climb and pictures soon.

3M National Teacher Fellowship Award!!

Hey TA...just wanted too say a great big congrats on your 3M National Teacher Fellowship Award to be handed out in Windsor! You must be very very proud...what an honour !...and sooooo deserved.

I spent the morning (at work the other day - I will put in for a 1/2 annual leave day) reading your posts from the beginning of the Kili adventure...I just wanted to get you know you a little and now I feel I do. You are such an awesome person and writer and I can't wait to read your book!

Anyway, just wanted to say a great big thank you (what an adventure)... (and I wish I could write like you!)

Take care, have a lots of fun in Windsor and a safe trip home.

Thanks for coming along on the climb and lending such support. I'll pass on grettings and love to the Colubus Monkey and Giraffe this morning when we meet for breakfast. We're getting ready to make for the airport tonight with suitcases packed with fine fine memories of a fun and fantastic adventure.

After following your training during the cold and wet winter and spring months, hearing about your new gear and all the anticipation--it was so good to follow along with you on Kilimanjaro. You women will inspire others to set goals and follow a plan. Your after-summit adventure was your well-deserved reward, and thanks for all the details, TA. Hope to see some animal photos from your safari. Wishing safe travels home for everyone,

Thanks for your support. As a team we watched your dvd on during our send-off celebration and folks appreciated seeing "real" folks climbing Kili. It gave us a picture of life on the mountain and the team drew inspiration from their climb as we completed our climb.
