Looonnnggg drive. Crossed Southern Patagonia, vast steppes. Then we crossed the famous straights of Magellan by ferry. Onto Tierra Del Fuego, land of fire. It actually is an island, very large island. Here we diverted from the main road to an estancia, large sheep farm. We are sleeping in the shearers hut. Lamb was roasting over the fire as we arrived.
