LOCATION: Torre Del Paine, Chile
Long drive over open, windswept steppes. Border crossing at the remote dirt
post took a long time. Now we are deep in Torre Park. The clouds opened to
give us tantalizing glimpses of the amazing massif and its spires. Can't wait
to hike beneath them. Lots of guanaco and small ostrich like birds called rhea.
Dan is loving the exposed rocks.
