Here is a list of the shots I got last year for my trip to Nepal and Thailand. I then went in Ecuador in november and a lot of the shots I previously had were doing fine. It's about the same for the trip to Africa this year.

Hepatitis A and B (shot)

Yellow fever (shot)

I will also need to bring some medication for various illnesses that could affect me on the way.

Malarone (for Malaria)

Diamox (for preventing or curing acute mountain sickness)

Cipro (all kinds of infection)

Immodium (diarrhea)

Tylenol (head aches or any pain)

Gastrolyte (to rehydrate properly after diarrhea)

Anti-inflammatory (if I get swollen or my back or ankles hurt)

Gravol (motion sickness)
