Hi There!

I'm a 49 year old family doctor from the Lake District in England, and I'm attempting to summit this big old hill for the THIRD time.  In 2004, from the north side, I turned in poor conditions at 7800m.  In 2006, in good conditions, I turned back 200m short of the summit, about which I've dwelt a lot since.  I am no super athlete, I'm an office-bound professional man with much self-doubt about this dream, but I've decided I won't settle until I've had one more go to see if I can squeeze that last 200m out of my fading body and mind.
