MyEverest.com - Thanks Paul and Fi

Echoing the words of many members and visitors of this web-site, I wanted to thank Paul, Fiona and Nick Grainger. I feel privileged to be involved with MyEverest.com. This site has attracted like minded people who go for their dreams and have overcome very challenging obstacles in their lives. I also sense that the members and visitors have a strong desire to help, support and inspire others which to me is what it's all about. A big time thank you! Paul and Fi, you envisioned MyEverest.com and you have realized this dream. Well done!

Don't be silly!

Hi MC - Thanks for your very kind words. But don't worry, Paul and I are getting as much out of this site as anyone else will. Hopefully it will make some small difference in a few people's lives.
Thanks as well for all your help on the site - helping us develop the initial concept, testing, adding forums, and moderating. Hopefully we can eventually get a community of supporters that together help this thing grow.
All the best, Fiona

Like Minded

Hi, I wanted to say that I enjoy this site so much! I check it first thing in the morning and several times after work. I feel,(as mentioned in above posting), an extreme positive vibe from all the people involved. The contrast between what goes on in the news, (all the negativity that is a permanent feature in every day life), and the happy, positive things I read here is the balance I seek. Thanks Paul and Fiona and all the wonderful folks posting and living out dreams!
Best, Ann and Graham

Personal Development

Hi Ann,

Just reading your words I found I completely resinated with you. You sound like you have a simialar mind set to me. I wanted to let you know about a course I do at least once every year with a close group of friends. It's called Born Richby Bob Proctor. It delves into the laws of the universe and gratitude and ways to improve the quality of ones life.
I thinks it's awesome and should be taught in schools to our children.
You may have heard of the DVD the Secret if not I highly recomend you watch it I think you'll love it.

Prosperous Regards
Rebecca

Thanks for the ideas

Hi Rebecca,
I have heard of the Secret, I have not watched it. It sounds interesting. I have been reading daily meditations(Tao), and try to avoid as much toxic news as I can. Currently, I am reading as many Everest and related books as I can. I am almost done with "No Shortcuts To The Top" by Ed Viesturs, and have another book on the way! I do think that the constant drone of negativity in our society is tough to let go of, but for now this site and my reading has helped me!
Thanks for the note!
Ann
