howdy all from a little lodge bout a 6 hour trek from Namche bazaar. The last couple days has not been fun and certainly a real mental and physical test. the first test was from monzu to NB which proved very energy sapping and seeing I had the runs and no sleep previous nite the trek was exhausting. very steep climb in parts and NB qas a welcome sight. basically for the 2 nights I have still been very sick and it seems no amount of medicine coukd stop the bug. during the last 2 Nites I feel like I’ve gone 12 rounds with jeff fenech. battered from pillar to post.

struggled during night again with only bout 2 hour sleep and the loo, however I did fet looked after - I paid xtra for ensuite and wasnnt that great idea.

today's walk proved harder yet againm- very steep in parts but what shouldve been a 4 hr walk took me 6 n a bit hrs. but at least this has made me go slow which could prove blessing in disguise.

a 4 to 5 hour trek tomorrow I believe but I think I’m feeling better and so all I can do is go slow and take it one step at a time. this trek is proving to b a marathon.

Sounds like a really tough gig. We are all thinking of you and how every step for you is closer to your goal. The runs and the rounds with Jeff Fenech, well I thought that you would be ok with that, sounds more like a night out in Warrnambool ! As they say slow and steady wins the race. Keep up the great work mate, you are inspiring us all, GO SPUD. A and A.

going strong.
