May 15
Everest Basecamp
My thumbs are sore but Ill keep on posting! Today was the final meeting to discuss when and how the ropes would be fixed from the South Col (C4) to the summit. Our departure date remains the same, we start for the summit on May 17th with our summit day on the 21st. I've attached a photo of me after I came down from the Lhotse Face. It was quite chilly so I had my parka on, we wore helmets as there was a lot of ice bits falling down from climbers above us.
Ill post our summit itinerary tomorrow.

Let us be a guiding light as you make your way to the top of the tallest mountain of them all. Pam and Murray are thinking of you daily as is little Will, Kate, Joel and I. God Bless!
