Final Business Plan Submitted

< Newer | Older >

When we entered the MUEC competition, I thought we wouldn’t need to do all that much work as I’d already written a business plan – boy was I wrong! This morning we submitted the final plan and it’s certainly had many, many hours put into it. I think we’re up to revision 93! We also had to submit 8 full copies which has proved to be quite expensive (we decided to get it printed in colour as we’ve got lots of screen grabs and diagrams to explain concepts). I’m sure it’s worthwhile though. Even if it’s just that it’s got us thinking about the business in a slightly more evolved way, it could be those slight tweaks that make all the difference to how it actually comes to life on the website.

Anyway, I must go now. I’m heading to Nepal in 2 days to support Paul while he attempts to climb Mt Everest again. He left a few weeks ago and I’m trekking into basecamp with a small group, and then staying there with him for the rest of his climb. I should be back sometime late May / early June. These last weeks have been incredibly busy. As well as getting the plan done, I’ve been in the thick of development – trying to stay a step ahead of Brad so that the pages are ready for him to add the PHP code. It’s frustrating as it’s taking me a very long time to do each page. Hopefully things will speed up in the next couple of days and I’ll get most of this done before I go.
