Your climb to kilimanjaro

Hi!

We have set up a website about our climb to kilimanjaro in 2003. Even though it is in german, You will find a lot of pictures about that amazing trip to Kili You are about to do.
Befor we went to Kilimanjaro we did some acclimatization at Mount Kenya. That was very helpful because You got used to the thin air and we didn't have any high altitude problems on Kibu. For questins I will be happy to answer them to You.

Wow, you have such nice pictures. I see that you also went to EBC. I actually did in 2006. What a great adventure! About Kilimanjaro, how long did you take to climb up? On my expedition, we are about to summit on day 6. Do you think I'll be fine since I have no previous acclimatization hike before? Day 1 (2800 meters), day 2 (3800), day 3 (3900), day 4 (acclimatization day and back to 4000 meters), day 5 (4600), day 6 (start at midnight and summit day). What do you think of this planning? We're going through Machame route. Thanks again for all the great pictures. You made me want to be there and especially MAKE it to the top!!!

I'm Aryati, I'm women climber from Indonesia. I start reading your trip to Kilimanjaro. I hope I can climb for next year. I've been climbing some of the 6000m and I want to continue to climb again after I didn't climb for highest as 6000m, I've trekking in volcanoes mountain in Indonesia every year. I'm happy if you would like sharing with me about your experience.

Sure I'd like to share my experience on Kilimanjaro with you. I'll be writing posts when I'm actually in Africa. I don't know yet where and when I'll have a computer available, but I'll try to make updates whenever it's possible. Thank you for writing and you could share your experiences as a climber too !!!

Je veux juste te dire que je pense très fort à toi! Je suis très fière de toi et de ton parcours...ton itinéraire part de loin...et tu vois où tu es rendue!!! Tout est possible Anik et tu vas y arriver. J'imagine que le paysage doit être à couper le souffle....regarde en avant de toi...tout ça t'appartient! Aeronik, Congratulations. My friend Dena has sent me your story and WOW!!! Iam going up Kili in july with Fred Hutchinson Climb to Fight Breast Cancer and so I deeply appreciate what your body and mind have been up to in Africa. I'm certain the memories of this climb and your absolute bravery and determinateion to take your aching, delerious head all the way to the top will give you all the strength you ever need to forward and do whatever your heart desires.
