Hey April:

Your Mom said that you had sent a message :>)
Look forward to sharing the adventure with you ... and maybe telling some of the tall stories over beer at Ocracoake (spelling?).

Take care,

Am enjoying the blog

Hi Pat,

I was sorry we could not get together before you left for your big trip, but Deb, Carol, and I had a good dinner this past Sunday night. Carol told me to keep up with you via the blog. You trip sounds wonderful and I wish you a lot of luck over the next several months. We are already planning to get together after you get back so I can hear all about it in person. Take care and stay safe.

Hey Pat,

Just heard via the Fellows X network that you were on Everest. My prayers and positive thoughts are headed your way. Go high and stay safe!

Recieved an email from your brother Dan

Pat,

I sent an email to your email address listed on this webpage and recieved an email back from your brother Dan that you are not checking email on your AOL account. So, I wanted to send you one here.

I simply wanted to say both my daughters and I are rooting you on up there. It is great seeing someone who appears to be close to my age attempting to complete such a lofty goal. If you have time, we would love to get a personal email back from you, so we can brag to all of our friends that we are corresponding to someone who is in the process of climbing Everest.

So, stay warm, be safe, and we look forward to following your daily progress until you are standing on the top of the world...

Best regards,

Terry

Hi Mike

Wishing you and your team all the best for your climb to the top of the world. Go you good thing. And when you get back, I'll have to have a word about the pittosporums, they need a bloody good pruning. All the best, love to Wendy and the kids too.

future mnt. everest conquerer.!!

from a long lost friend . . .

Congratulations Pat!!!

This is from Susan Bludworth (Newton) - one of the old Racquet Club crowd. I was in Corpus this week and dropped in on Dan & Deb and you were the biggest news they had - by far!

I'm so proud of you and what you have accomplished. I would love to hear what all you and Carol have been up to over the years. It is great to know that you still have your adventuresome spirit! I have not climbed any mountains and still have a long list of places to visit . . . but have raised one very cool kid - completely on my own.

I hear from Rick DeWitte twice a year - on his birthday and mine. He has been in Scottsdale for as long as I have been in Dallas. Would love to hear from you and Carol and know the next time you plan to be in Texas.

Again - Congratulations!

Susan
