Clear Skies but Very Windy

< Newer | Older >

Date: 3pm 22nd May

Hi everyone,

I just heard from Paul on the radio and he and Attila are safely at Camp 4. At the moment, they say the winds are quite strong up there which is a big concern. (As you know the weather forecast recently increased the wind speeds, but it looks as though they will only increase from here on for the next few days.) As you can probably imagine, this is extremely disappointing.

Paul and Attila are hoping that as night falls, the winds will drop but it's not looking too promising right now. Anyway, they're concentrating on melting as much snow and drinking as much as they can just in case they do get an opportunity to go tonight.

Will let you know when I hear more, Fiona
