I am sending you guys a virtual high five...(slap)!!! Well done. So happy to hear the weather was clear with only light winds. You all sounded elated on the audio blog. Paul, a special congrats for a great job as leader of this expedition!!! Look forward to hearing you are all back down in BC safe, sound and warm!!!
Great job and glad to hear your excitement and satisfaction on completing this adventure! We are very jealous and can't wait to hear all about it and see all the photos.
This site is fantastic in capturing the finer details and makes us feel that we have snuck aboard in your suitcase!
Congratulations to all on your wonderful achievement. Rob and I listened to your live message with glass of wine in hand to toast you all. Cheers!!!!!!!
Well done all. Safe trip down and we all look forward to the pics from the top.

Congratulations fellas, I'm sure you're all feeling a great sense of achievement and acomplishment right now and deservedly so!
It's been some time since I last checked in on what you'd been up to and I've spent the last hour or two catching up. What an absorbing read!! I'm always entertained by Darren's stories about his trips, but they're always written after the event. Reading about your journey as it's unfolding has been even better, I couldn't stop reading!
And Darren, as much as it pains me to have to say this, it appears I may owe you an apology. It seems that people actually want to know about the toilet stories... Don't start gloating just yet, I said maybe. Some seemed to agree with me, then there was those that were asking...?
Looking forward to seeing some photos and reading about how the climb went.

PS I still haven't found another job, but I've been seconded to a water recycling plant project, not too far from home, so work's better than it was and I get to go to a third christmas party :)
Congratulations ....What an incredible journey. I look forward to talking to you soon and hearing all about your adventure to Island Peak. Safe trip home.
Love Nan, Aaron and Hayden xxxx
Dear Cas,
Congratulations for a really good job.
You have showed what a man can achieve when he decides to do so.
Hope you all have a safe trip back home.
Was a pleasure reading your updates. Many thanks for letting us
share the experiance with you.
Congratulations.........what else can I say? What an amazing journey.
Dave, ever since we met I have admired your adventurous spirit. You chase your dreams harder than any person I know. You never give up, not even when your dreams seem impossible. So when you are enjoying a beer to celebrate tonight, remember that I am celebrating with you....not just for this achievement but for all of them and the ones I know are destined for your future.
Congratulations on having the guts to grab life by the balls..
on your brilliant ascent. Your voices certainly reflect the joy of living and life experience in high places. May the Sun and blue skys continue to illuminate your safe and peaceful journey.

We are five guys from Australia and the UK who are trekking in Nepal in November 2007 and hoping to climb to the summit of Island Peak - 6189m. Hopefully we'll all make it to Everest base camp and up Island Peak - Imja Tse as it's known locally. We all have different backgrounds and experience - ranging from experienced to never used crampons before. It should be an exciting journey that we hope to share with you here...
