Jambo,
After a six hour descent to Mweka gate, we landed in the chaos of sellars, boot cleaners and park officials. We signed in, organized the gear we had brought to donate to our porter team, and finally jumped in the land rovers for the two hour drive to Arusha. It's always amazing to move at vehicle speeds after being human powered for a week. We celebrated with Kilimanjaro beer and did a nice ceremony to receive our summit certificates. Showers were appreciated and soft beds. We have an organization/rest/exploration day and head out on safari tomorrow.

I was out of town all weekend to a Guiding event so didn't get to check my emails ( your updates ) until this morning. I am so excited for you all. You must be so proud. Enjoy the well deserved rest ( soft beds ) and I look forward to your next update. Debbie
That would be a "woo" AND a "hoo"!
