Well done!

huhh guys that sounded pretty windy! but otherwise you are doing great Paul! what an insight into the feeling near the top of the world your audio blog can give us! In my earlier comment is was wondering about are you still enjoying Australian-Hungarian salami and cheese and it seems you do!:))
I am glued on my screen. You must be excited also.
Have a great climb and hope the wind goes off!
Mira

Window at the Top of the World

Thank you Paul for giving us a window into what it's like to be near the top of the world - very special indeed! All the best with your bid for the summit tonight.

I was curious as to whether you are taking a wind-on film camera to the summit this year? I recall Fi having some difficulties with her digital camera batteries on the summit last year, and was wondering whether an old-fashioned wind-on might alleviate this issue, or whether the film would freeze rendering it useless..

I'll forgive you if you don't answer my question until your return to base-camp! :o)

Cheers,

Zoë (the human one)

Hi Paul

Hey there Paul! May the wind drop & Lady Luck be with you. So, so proud. Dave Fearnley.

Audio Update

Unbelievable update Paul. Thanks for going to the trouble of sharing your experience with us all. It is really amazing what can be delivered. Will be thinking of you and Attila as you head off and up. Hope all calms down and all is OK. Phil M

Candle is lit!

My candle will burn until you are safely back to Base Camp - and am asking the mountain to allow you and Attila to "top out"!
