Hey there Bonnie!!! By now you're well on your way and we can't even imagine what you're going through. Russ' biggest question is....where do you shower?? hahaha!! I read a blog from someone who was stepping around elephant dung, and it sounded like SUCH an ADVENTURE! You and all of your friends are in our prayers....stay safe and warm!

Great to hear your voice. I have a poster at Osher and will post updates. Your memoir will be something else. And I think Pfaudler will want you on the schedule.
Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. And as the kids at DUPC said, "Be careful".

We're thinking of you and are following along. Hope it's not all work. With luck and good weather it should be a beautiful view of the Aftrican planes. If our wishes help, you should have no problems getting to the top. Barb and Werner

It was so great to hear your voice on the update today. So many people are thinking of you and your climbing buddies EVERY step of the way. Big hugs go out to you!!! Love, Lynne

hello

Tom & Kim Mattice, hope you are having fun. The race was rained out on sunday. So they had to finish it up on monday. Jr. got wrecked bad! Gordon led most of the race and then at the very end Carl Edwards won. Tonight it's really snowing hard. Maybe a snow day tomorrow.

Good Luck!!!

Johnny Finter

For Lynette

You're there!!
How fierce. and definitely inspirational.
I am on the phone with Beth right now. We look forward to seeing your photos and hearing your stories when you return. Here's a haiku from me:
Mustering great strength
You scale a mountain for hope
Wake the sky with dreams

Hi, Diane, Lisa Phelps here. It's hard to proceed with my routine, here in snowy cold and gloomy Massachusetts without thinking of what you might be seeing, experiencing, feeling and thinking. It's wonderful to be able to hitch a ride with you and the rest of the remarkable team via internet. Sam did us the favor of dining with Erin, Dave and me the day after her operation. His good company helped us shake out of a 3 week ordeal. Erin's biopsy results are due Friday but the surgeon said it looked good. Had it not, we still would not have had to despair. After all you're climbing Kili!! Thanks for the inspiration and God bless you as the air gets thinner. <3 Lisa

Greetings from Corn Hill to Diane King!

(and Sam too! )

The stars are out for you tonight, Diane.

Diane,
I listened to your voice as I was watching the most amazing number of stars in our sky tonight. I know you face many challenges in the days ahead but I have faith that you all will continue to remain strong as you move up the mountain. Just one step at a time will get you there. I so appreciate that you're doing this for us.
loads of love,
Patty
