Ok! This is it! This group has such energy and conviction that you all will make it. Remember that we all believe in you too. Look at the next day as a series of small goals and you'll get there. Good luck and good climbing! Calvin - a bunch of us will be here constantly refreshing the web site waiting for news of the summit. I love you! Bonnie
Dear climbers, especially Matt and Char, you inspire us all back here in Rochester! We hope you will take lots of pictures in between your moments of awe at the top of Africa! The second graders look forward to your stories of struggle and triumph each day. We're thinking warmly of you all and wishing you well! From The Second Graders at The Harley School
Hi Linda,
It was great to hear Linda's audio. It sounds as if there is nothing to stop you or the whole group now. You will be "propelled" to the summit by the collection of love, faith, excitement, pride, glory, commraderie, strength, gratitude, and prayers of those on the hike with you as well as from those back here. Oh, and this part is just the first part of your adventure in Africa. WOW!!!!!!!
I am so very, very proud of you all. This is it! Your final hike to the summit. Whatever you've overcome on the hike to this point is exactly what will get you through this final push. You all can do this!
Can't wait to see pictures and hear audio from the summit! You GO. Be safe.
I will be with you in spirit. Thinking of and praying for you.
Hearing Linda's voice brought big tears to my eyes. Thankful you are all doing well and getting strength from each other. You all are never out of my thoughts esp. this last day of hiki8ng to the summit. I am believing you will all be given the strength necessary for the longest day. ILMbs
We are there with you in spirit and, if we see the sun today (it's snowing at the moment), I'll know it shone on you first as you got to the top of Africa. Love you and thinking of you - we knew you could do it!
YEAH!!! You are almost to the top! I can't even imagine how beautiful it is! You and your friends should be so proud of your accomplishments!! I can't wait to hear about it! Be safe and careful on the way down!
Love,
Chris
