Hi Linda,
It's about 11 degrees here, but I'm not complaining. I think about you sleeping in tents and sleeping bags in the cold and again, I'm humbled. This is really an awesome thing you're doing! I'm proud to know you and privileged to have met some of those you're sharing this experience with. I think of and pray for you and the group often. Keep your eyes on the prize and no blinders will be necessary ;). One step at a time. Take care.

followning your adventure daily - it's terrific!!! Thanks so much for the wonderful description of the sunset today and of those wonderful porters......I can't imagine being able to carry all that!!! What a help they must be. Be safe everyone and enjoy the adventure!!!

Hi Robin, So great to hear your voice... you sound great! Love the description you gave... sounds mystical where you are... and I am sure you have captured it on your camera and you will write a wonderful story line from this adventure - a Nobel! You sound great and ready to tackle the next part of this hike… you keep warm! Things here are going well… visited the homestead and all is safe and sound… shoveled the walkway and took in the FedEx… (Box from Margaret L. from MD )…talked to the plants… I have a question for you and I know you will laugh at… ready… How does one water the plants when the water is completely turned off? LoL well your tree is fine… after a drink of h2o and no not from the toilet…. I used your ice cubes, melted them in the microwave… cooled it down and gave your tree a drink…I will go back tomorrow with a pitcher of h2o to give it a proper drink! Are you laughing yet? It was too funny…if you where here I think we would be rolling on the ground about this… of course if you were here… there wouldn’t have been a story to tell. Well all is well and I look forward to sitting down and chatting with you when you return over a cup of Hot Cocoa… Enjoy your Leap Day and get ready to Leap up to the top of the world! Love ya!
