New audio update from TA as she readies for departure in the morning.  Kilimanjaro here we come!

TA hopes to post daily during the climb but isn't bringing the "full meal deal" for technology so won't be able to receive your posts until she returns to Arusha from the mountain on June 9th.

This is the text of TA’s audio message:

Hi this is TA calling from St. Johns Newfoundland on the day before my departure for Mount Kilimanjaro.

It’s been an exciting day of news shoots, some training, and some presentations.  The bags are filled and ready to go on the plane in the morning.

Ann Marie and I leave from St John’s and fly to Newark New Jersey, from Newark to Amsterdam and then from Amsterdam into Kilimanjaro airport and Arusha where I will meet up with Marian and Abigail who will already be there.  We will eagerly await the arrival of our other members Leslie from Dar Es Salaam…not that’s she from there but she’s flying in through there…and then Diane, Wanda, Flora, Karen and Nancy.

So it’s exciting we will all be on our way very soon flying and traveling.  Arriving in Arusha with time for a days rest, we begin our climb on June the 2nd with hope of summiting on June the 8th.

So we hope that you will follow along.  This has been a test of my audio blog capacity if the technology Gods and Goddesses shine upon me I will be posting daily in audio format and someone will transcribe the updates and post to both this site and my website.
