it is amazing that you have all managed to get over renjo la reasonable well and are all in excellent spirits! this is really great stuff! you will only realise the true significance once you are all back home and going through your log books / photos!

well the reward for you all is the magnificent 'gokyo'!!! the setting, beautiful lakes, gokyo ri and view from its summit make this by far my favourite spot of the trek!

it was great to hear your lovely voice maura and note the excitement in your short clip.

Dear Maura, Great to hear your voice this morning like you were right here with us. What a hike- you all must have been exhausted. Hope you were able to sleep well (it's still nite where you are) and will be able to continue on this fantastic adventure with no ill effects. Mom and I envy you and your friends but we are lucky to be able to walk around the house much less climb mountains!!! You and your companions are in our thoughts and prayers.
