Hi Terry and Rick!
It was so good to hear your voice, Terry! We are with you along the
way as you climb and look forward to the updates! John and Mary Lou
Karen! We are all following your progress and can't stop thinking of you while you experience this great adventure most of us only dream about. Hope you have your poles and that you are rested and in good spirits. And when you get tired, remember all the training sessions with Andy and know that you can do it. One step at a time!! We love you! (From LB)!
Thinking of you as you reach Africa! Wow! It's probably bigger and warmer than Rochester is right now. Peggy and I wish you strength and courage as you begin the big climb. We are keeping the whole crew in our thoughts and prayers and are with you all in spirit.
I am checking the schedule and it appears that you will be starting the climb tomorrow...I will be up in Canada and out of computer range but will be thinking of all of you. I hope that you have a great day today getting settled in and touring "Moshi" whatever or wherever that is :)
Hi Bonnie and 09 climbers,
The LaughRochester, Laughter Yoga Club will be helping you out when you attempt the summit next Sunday. Between 3 and 4 PM EST we will be giving you all a boost by Laughing you up the mountain! Have a great time and remember to LAUGH!
Love to you all,
Dale (Bonnie's Sister)
Hi guys! Aunt Dee and I are thinking about you and hoping you had a great trip to the "Dark Continent". Now the fun (and sweat) begins. We'll be anxiously following your progress from our vacation in Phoenix. Hope all your training and prep pays off as you start your climb. Best of luck and all our love – Aunt Dee and Uncle Sam
We are watching the site and are all thinking about you daily. Have a great time in Africa. Good luck with the climb! We love you! Love, your little sister, Susie and family
We are thinking about you and hope you are having a great time...enjoy this adventure!!! We are very proud of you. I was showing Nate pictures of Mt. Kilamanjaro and he has requested that you bring him back a giraffe and an elephant. I hope you can swing those by customs.
Love,
Pete, Molly, Nate, Julia & Tanner & Whiter
Not sure when the climb starts but your adventure all ready started. We are looking forward to reading the daily blogs to see what you are up to. Joan and Cliff
Can't believe you're actually there and are ready to do it. Seemed like you just announced you were going to make this incredible trip. I'm with you in spirit! Best of luck to everyone! -- another karen back home
I'll bet you are having such a great time! I've been thinking of you each day and can't wait to hear about all your trials and tribunes. What an awesome way of celebrating the fight against cancer! You guys are too much!! Enjoy the fresh air and hurry home with some stories of all the people you have made friends with!
Lot's of Love,
Jody
Hopefully I figured this out and you will get the message - we are thinking of you as you start on your big adventure. I was flipping through the channels over the weekend and caught "Out of Africa" and it made me smile and think about you. No day off from work for us today which stinks - but there is a lot less traffic! Take care of yourself!
Hello 09er's,
Glad to hear you all arrived safely. We have been thinking of you. Can't believe it has been year since we were there. Enjoy every minute of it. Are the fingernails still clean? Give it a day or two.
Lori and Rick
Like Wow!! That is like sooo cool. Hope all is well & that Gregg's ankle is holding up. If this isnt a true test for you relationship, I dont know what is. That is so cool, maybe that's a trip Jeff & I should take so that we could rediscover each other. God Bless & See ya sometime when you get home from there!!
Hi Desi- I am thinking of you and Alex and wish you an amazing, wonderful and safe climb. You are amazing and I can't believe you are doing this!!!!!!
Denny
We are SO proud of you two!!! Wishing you all of the safe climbing wishes we have (to you and to all of your teammates!!), and sending lots of love. Love you!!
Meg, I'm sorry we missed your call! It was GREAT to hear your voice on the recorder. Thank You for calling. We were definitely comforted by the sound of your voice. Tuesday is the big start to your adventure. Enjoy every minute...once in a life time adventure! Think of your Grandparents. How proud would they be? Love You both!
Mom & Dad
We know you're fit and ready for the climb. We're thinking of you as you move toward your goal. Your strength and determination will be a step toward honoring your patients. We wish you a great journey.
Just to let you know, the weather in New Mexico is 50 ish and sunny and we're exploring our environs with great woman to woman bonding. ]
Love, Harriett, Prudy, Jeannie and Len
PS - I'm living vicariously through your experience. Can't wait to see the photos. We're planning the summer review party now. Prudy
You start your climb tomorrow..well i guess it would be today your time. Good luck, i know you can do it, i've always had faith in you
I love you, be careful!

Hi daddy and Terry, we miss you both. have a safe climb. dogs are good, rambicous!. House is still standing. Made coffee for the first time every was watery. :-) Good Lucky. Love you guys very much!!!!
You're on your way!! (picture me dancing a jig) I am sooooo proud of you my friend!!! Bill and I are thinking of you and wishing you and your fellow climbers a safe journey.... HUGS and LOVE!!
So, anyone win the pool yet? Early money is on Terry, but my money is on the overconfident Matt (Char's not there to keep an eye on him). I'm counting on Ryan and Sal to carry on the tradition of "creative occupations" when signing in at the camps. Big shoes to fill there. By the way, tell Matt he can stop the fundraising talk now and enjoy the Journey. Tell him we've raised like a billion dollars and it's enough already. You want a fundraising idea - how about this one: $100 for any safari picture with animals doinking. Enjoy the climb. It's killing me not to be there. I'll be thinking of you all when I'm skiing tomorrow and riding the chairlift to the top of the mountain.
