Audio update from Earth Sea Sky

Hi everyone - Fiona here again.
I've just managed to post the audio file a different way so you should be able to listen to this now - apologies for the earlier hiccup.  I also just got a call from Paul and he said they are now off the summit but still in the snow section (it's now about an hour from when it was first posted). Everyone has abseiled down the wall.  They have clear skies and absolutely no wind - perfect conditions - so they're taking their time.  There biggest challenge now will be the heat.  The say it feels like it's 30 degrees C!
He said everyone is doing really well and they have plenty of water with them so should be fine.

Congratulations to each and every one of you - those who made it to the summit but also those who made it to base camp - no mean achievement and one you should feel really proud. And I couldn't believe my ears hearing your audio not only all those kilometres away in distance but also in altitude!!! With a little bit of help from your friends and by the sound of things some pretty wonderful Sherpas - you did it!!!!! Good weather and all - you are blessed! You have all shared an amazing experience. So good hearing your voice - tired and emotional - but so, so proud of you! (p.s. Dino's still at work and hasn't had a chance to hear your message yet so he's really looking forward to going home... he'll also get your dad to listen in ... whattagirl!!) To those of you who made the summit, congratulations. You were much in our thoughts and prayers throughout the day. Although I have never met any of you, I feel connected and I shed a tear when I heard the emotion in your voices at having reached the summit. So glad to hear you are now all safely back at base camp. To those of you who did not do the summit, well done on reaching base camp. I trust you are all feeling rested ready for the next few days downhill! Will look forward to talking with you Elisa when you are back at the hospital. Once again Congratulations to you all, such an amazing feat and we are all so very proud!

Mum - You are amazing! Nonno is over for dinner tonight he read your blogs and we all listened to your audio blog together. Nonno & Dad are both very proud and we all were excited to hear your voice although you sound absolutely exhausted i can't even imagine how tired you'd be!

I still think you'd be getting more sleep than us back home the dogs are crazy as they're home alone daily & we think daylight savings has played havok with them as the last 2 nights they've been up at 3.50am scratching our door down! Bet you don't miss that!

So glad to hear you are getting some good weather on your way down.
