Welcome to my spot on the net. Over the next couple months I will share with you my experiences as I climb Ama Dablam. As I was preparing to write this blog I was trying to determine if I would have a focus or a theme. I am not connected with any specific charities and do not have a particular cause, but one specific topic came up every time I spoke to anyone about this trip. Dream Big! I have always been driven by goals. Without a clear focus in my life I just kind of float along. I have been fortunate enough to travel to many amazing places and have had many extraordinary experiences. I am not rich or overly talented in any one area, nor am I an exceptional athlete. I have done these things because I had a dream and I made it real. If I were to give my kids advice I would say to have big dreams. Not all dreams will become reality, but with focus and determination you will accomplish more than you might think. Therefore, the theme for this expedition with be to Dream Big! Don’t let that dream die. Make it happen. Dream Big! Scott.
